Four Of A Kind
Quads, or four of a kind, is the hand where you get four cards of the same rank, plus one card that has another rank. The quads that have bigger ranking cards will defeat quads that are lower ranking.
When the games have wildcards, it is possible that at least two players will get the same four of a kind hand. In such an event, the card that is unmatched will be the kicker. If the kicker is the same, the pot is split, since it will be a tie.
There are a total of 624 possible hands which can include a four of a kind. The chance of getting one in a deal with five cards is 0.024%.
