Straight Flush

straight-flush A poker hand with five cards that are all in sequence is called a straight flush, as long as they are of the same suit. For example, the hand might have K♣ Q♣ J♣ 10♣ 9♣. When you have two hands that are both straight flush, the one with the bigger ranking will win. When it comes to the suits, these have no value here, so you have the possibility of reaching a tie with straight flushes. When it comes to straight flushes and straights, aces can also act as low cards. The highest possible poker hand is the one with an ace at the top, and it’s called the royal flush (A♠ K♠ Q♠ J♠ 10♠).

In total, you can have up to 40 different combinations of straight flushes and four of them are the royal flush. There is a 0.0015% probability of getting one in a five card deal.
